Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, also known with the stage name Lady Gaga, is American singer-songwriter and actress who got the world recognition through her numerous popular songs, including “Poker Face” and “Born This Way”. She is known for her signature strong vocal skill and unique costumes while performing on stage.
Germanotta was born in New York on March 28, 1986 and grew up playing musical instrument. She was only 4 when she began learning the piano. While attending a private Catholic school, she actively performing music. At the age of 13, she wrote her first piano ballad and had her first performance in a night club when she was 14. As a brainy child, Germanotta was accepted in New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, became one of the only 20 students in the world. The lead single she was co-written for the movie, “Shallow”, won an Oscar for Best Original Song and two Grammy nods. Lady Gaga successfully earned 11 Gammy Awards for her work in the movie.
